The Lace twist can only be laced from the small end of the plastic closing. So you must start at one end and work your way around to the opposite end. 

To remove the lace, work the end gently back around the loops, don't pull hard against the plastic ends.

Note: Some shoes have metal circular optional eyelets (holes) which may be small on some brands. If the small end of the Nós-Nua Lace Twist does not fit through these holes do not force it and loop the shoe as normal through the other leather and elasticated loops.
